Stumbling on to a great idea for a new invention, I had no clue where to start the process. I was lucky to have a friend who knew Steven Fairchild and previously worked with him before!
I made the initial call to Steven and explained my product to him. He was very interested to see what I had created as a prototype and suggested a meeting to discuss further my invention. Our meeting went very well. He presented the information necessary and answered my questions. He explained the overall process of creating a provisional and a non-provisional patent and any difficulties that could be foreseen. He was honest and gave Criticism as needed to protect and to get the best results out of my patent and product. Leaving the meeting we both were assigned with duties to complete to start the process. It was great to meet a professional who guided me along to protect my product and steer me in the right direction for the best results all around. This was exciting!
